Fulton County Arts & Culture celebrated the fifth year of F.A.C.E.s of Fashion with a stylish evening at Skillshot Studio in Buckhead, Atlanta. Built around this year’s theme, “The Art of Influence,” the event brought fashion, art, music, and community together in a way that felt focused and festive.

Dallas Austin received the 2026 Icon Award, a fitting centerpiece for a night about creative impact across culture and entertainment. Other honorees included Jamie Tankersley for Fashion and Henry Cheng, Art honoree and conductor at the Johns Creek Orchestra, reflecting the event’s broad view of influence across disciplines.

The program was hosted by Keith Robinson and Daphnèe Duplaix of Beyond the Gates, with additional special guest appearances that added to the celebratory atmosphere. As the evening moved between recognition and runway, the fifth-anniversary milestone gave the event extra weight without taking attention away from the work on display.

Original looks take the runway

The runway remained the heart of the night, with hand-crafted original designer garments presented through strong model performances. Bold shapes, expressive accessories, and confident styling gave the show a clear point of view while keeping the focus on craftsmanship and individuality.

One standout look paired a long gold brocade coat with a graphic tee, dark shorts, light sneakers, and a sculptural headpiece. The styling balanced drama with ease, and the model presentation gave the look strong movement and personality.

That mix of statement design and wearable styling carried through the show, with each runway appearance helping define the event’s celebratory tone.

Another memorable runway moment featured a chartreuse satin coat dress styled with an oversized matching hat and lime boots. Against the deep blue backdrop, the color story stood out immediately, and the model’s poise helped bring the garment’s shape and attitude into full view.

Five years of creative community

At five years, F.A.C.E.s of Fashion continues to show how a local runway event can honor established names while creating space for original design, performance, and creative exchange. This year’s edition kept that balance clear: a celebration of influence, a strong fashion presentation, and a polished Atlanta setting that made the occasion feel worthy of the milestone.
